Today i want to introduce the new loading material, which is normally called “slip sheet”. Do you know what is it? Generally speaking, we use the plastic pallets or the wooden pallets, but plastic pallets are very expensive and take huge place, wooden pallets need to supply some test and also take more place of the container.
Nowadays, the freight cost is so high, how to make full use of the container is very very necessary. slip sheet is the replacement of the plastic pallets and wooden pallets, it is made of the paper or the paper-plastic material. There are some advantages for the “slip sheet”
1. It is ok to the environment, comparing to the wooden pallets which need to use trees /forest, once it is destroyed, it will be almost useless ;plastic pallets is strong but it may bring more wastage in the future and not easy to degradation.
2. The purchasing cost is much lower. the cost for purchasing the plastic and wooden pallets are much higher than the slip sheet.
3. Slip sheet can be recycling. It can be used more times for loading the cargo, at last it is can be recycled.
4. It is clean and light, as you know, plastic pallets and wood pallets are both heavy and sometimes a bit dirty which is not good for transportation.
5. Obviously, the slip sheet reduce the space of the container. The Slip sheet is so valuable, but one important thing need to take attention: have to install one additional equipment ” pull -push tools” on your forklift which will take 30000-50000RMB.of course, In the long run, it is worthy for this invest. Because the total cost will be cutting down, the more delivery you have, the less cost you will get.
