It can be widely used in bookbinding of brochures, news materials, magazines, picture albums, posters, etc. Its process flow is page matching → book ordering → cutting → packaging. Now, based on years of work experience and the technological process of riding nails, we summarizes the key points of each process as follows and is willing to share with you.
1. Page arrangement
The book sections about to be folded are overlapped from the middle section to the top section.The thickness of a book bound by stitching should not be too thick, otherwise the iron wire cannot penetrate, and the maximum number of pages can only be 100. Therefore, the number of post storage groups that need to be added to books bound on back will not exceed 8. When adding pages to the post storage bucket, try to tidy up a stack of pages, so that air can enter between the pages, and avoid adhesion of the next page due to long accumulation time or static electricity, which will affect the startup speed. In addition, for the pages with uneven coding table in the previous process, the pages should be arranged and leveled when adding more pages, so as to avoid downtime in the production process and affect the production speed and output. Sometimes, due to dry weather and other reasons, static electricity will be generated between the pages. At this time, it is necessary to sprinkle some water around the pages or use a humidifier for humidification to remove static interference. When adding the cover, pay attention to whether there are inverted, white pages, double sheets, etc.
During the book ordering process, according to the thickness and material of the paper, the diameter of the iron wire is generally 0.2~0.7mm, and the positioning is 1/4 of the distance from the outside of the two nail saws to the top and bottom of the book block, with the allowable error within ± 3.0mm. There shall be no broken nails, missing nails or repeated nails when ordering; Books are neat and clean; The binding foot is flat and firm; The spacing is even and on the crease line; The deviation of book stickers shall be ≤ 2.0mm. During the book ordering process, it is necessary to regularly check whether the books ordered meet the standard requirements, and if any problems are found, the machine should be shut down in time for handling.
For the cutting, the knife bar shall be replaced in time according to the size and thickness of the book to ensure that the books cut are free of bleeding, knife marks, continuous pages and serious cracks, and the deviation of finished product cutting is ≤ 1.5mm.
Before packaging, the quality of finished products should be checked, and the whole book shall be clean and tidy without obvious wrinkles, dead folds, broken pages, dirty marks, etc; The sequence of page numbers shall be correct, and the center point of the page number should be prevail, with an inward or outward error ≤ 0.5mm. On the book receiving platform, the books should be neatly arranged, and then packed into books with a stacker. It is required to count accurately before packaging and pasting labels.
